I was born and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio and attended college at nearby Kent State University, earning a degree in Finance. This led me into the banking industry, where I soon specialized in home lending.
Over the past 30 years I have worked in all facets of the business, for some of the largest financial institutions in the world, as well as for small local companies. My knowledge of, and experience in, the mortgage industry allows me to help advise families during the home buying and/or refinancing process.
There are many factors to consider when getting a home loan; interest rates are only one element of the complete package, and no two situations are alike. I am passionate about finding financing solutions for my clients, no matter how complex. I help my clients consider all of their options, so they have a clear picture of what their options are, and can concentrate on making the best decision for their needs. I am blessed that my career brought me to Western North Carolina in 2011. The long, snow-filled winters of Cleveland were fantastic as a child, but after 40 years I grew a bit tired of them. Here the winters come in small enough doses to ensure I still miss my hometown, but won’t be drawn back.
The high point of moving to this area was meeting my lovely wife, whose family have lived here for generations. Between the two of us we have 5 boys, and our lives center around our family. We enjoy spending our time at local sporting events, camping, hiking, or any number of outdoor activities available to us. We also cherish the occasional quiet time we get to spend alone, at our home in Fletcher.
I look forward to many years of helping local, and relocating, families with their Western North Carolina home financing needs.
