Born in raised in La Porte, Indiana, Fred’s passion was playing baseball. It’s this passion that allowed him to achieve a scholarship to the prestigious college, Miami of Ohio. Here, he achieved great success playing baseball, even being featured in the book, “The Prophets of the Sandlots: Journeys with a Major League Scout,” by Mark Winegardner. Playing baseball instilled in Fred that hard work, dedication and determination could take him anywhere he wanted to go. He finished his college baseball career and graduated from Miami of Ohio, with his Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
After beginning his career in sales, he transitioned into the mortgage industry and has remained here for over 28 years. During this time, he has assisted over 4,500 clients, new and returning, and done almost $1 Billion dollars in sales.
